With more people spending time at home seemingly than ever due to COVD-19, furniture and home goods sales have increased to help people make living rooms, patios, and home offices more comfortable. Laura Sproul, owner of Sproul’s Furniture in Newcastle, Maine, reopened her store for in-person business at the end of May and reported that sales have increased substantially. “They spent enough time in their house and decided they should buy something new,” Sproul said. “If they’re going to be home, they might as well have their home look good.”
