Being a thought leader in the industry requires frequent communication but much of my pleasure comes from interacting with my readers and senior executives in the global spa industry.

I really enjoy blogging on Huffington Post, because I reach so many people around the world who don’t hesitate to let me know if they don’t agree with my point of view.

These articles, written from the perspective of a woman in search of great customer service have created the opportunity to interview superstar service providers like Ted Gibson, personal hair stylist of Angelina Jolie and Lupita Nyong’o, and Dr. Brian K. Williams, former Corporate Director of Training for Ritz Carlton.

Everything that I learn from these experts are incorporated into some aspect of Moontide Consulting.

When I began my blog www. Ethnic Skin Aficionado, I was on a seemingly impossible quest to find a knowledgeable facialist for my specific skin needs and discovered that other non-European women were experiencing the same problem. The blog struck a nerve and managed to garner over 230,000 views in the first 8 months from inception. I began to get requests for articles from global trade magazines like Les Nouvelle Esthetique, Spa Mantra, Skin Inc., Dermascope, Professional Spa and Wellness.

I decided to write my book, “The New Esthy Handbook, an Essential Guide for Novice or Nervous Estheticians” to help estheticians navigate the waters of the spa industry after graduating from school.

An updated version for dual therapists is coming; The New Therapist, An International Guide for Novice or Nervous Spa People.
